So in this guide we are going to see new weapons, new horses and also photo editor that will be interesting. If you know Red Dead Redemption 2 PC, when we take a photo, we have to send those photos to our social club and then we can get those photos from our social club. And it's not that easy just to get your photos.
But this update will make it easier. We could just go to our backup editor, access our photos and extract them from there. We can edit the title, description or the entire JSON if you are experienced with this. And also in this update, we managed to break our PS4 saves. But as you can see, it clearly mentions that this can be removed at any time. So let's see how to crack our PS4 saves.
So after downloading and installing the installer, a small prompt will appear on the screen saying Red Dead Redemption 2 Save Editor. First, I'll show you PS4 saves. You have two games, go ahead and select RDR2.
Also make sure you have this version 0.1.0.0.
We have some new options here, as you can see, we have the first one that says Open Save, which we always have, and the second one is the new option added, which is the open photo. Then we have the PC selection and PS4 saves.
The first one we're going to start with is the PS4 save game. So now let's open our USB connected to our PC. We have save data in our PS4 folder and in it we have or all saves.
Now go to the RDR2 save editor and click Save to PS4 and a window will appear.
Let's remove that so we can get the full picture. So on the top panel of this page where you see "My PS4 saves decrypted on backup" go straight to that panel and click on Decrypt RDR2 PS4 saves.
After clicking on it, a browser window will open, go ahead and find the storage you want to decrypt. In our case, we have it in our USB folder on the PS4. And then in the PS4 folder we have the save data folder, so we have our saves there.
Click on any file you want to decrypt and select the bin file. This is the file you need to securely encrypt. So, to decrypt it, we need to securely encrypt it first.
Select and open the PS4 save game bin file. After selecting it, you will be asked to login. Therefore, you should definitely go to https://x3t-infinity.com/, register and log in. You cannot decrypt saved files without login. If you subscribe, you'll start to find out.
Once completed, you will see your decrypted storage here.
Now click on the Extract tab on the top left corner and this decryption will be extracted to our PS4 folder where your bin folder is located. After that, exit this window and click on the open file in the main window. Locate the decrypted save file you just saved. Open it and you can edit this save.
So you don't need a save wizard, you can discover PS4 saves using the save editor, but also please note that this option can be removed at any time without notice.
Then we select the PC selector. If we click on the PC selection, this box will appear. This field is a PC save selector. And in this field you can change your profile name, but I'm not suggesting that, but you have an option for that. You can also open your saved files here so this PC can find them automatically. You have a longer list of stores as well as their photos.
You can see the difference between saved photos and captioned photos because captions on photos show photos and saved photos show names. And a photo view tab will appear and open to save. Under the "Open" tab, there is a small drop-down menu that allows you to open the file's location on your PC.
For photos, you can view the photos at any time by clicking on the view. You can save your photos if you make some changes to the photos you chose in the game.
You can change the names and also add a description. When you're done making changes, choose Save File As or Extract Image and then you need to choose the location where you want to save the image and select the type as PNG. You will receive a message that the image was successfully extracted.
You can preview your photos and delete them from PC choices. Then we will review the category of candid photos. This is used to open your profile photos in RDR2.
They are most likely on your PC's C drive, click on Users and select your username, then go to Documents and scroll down to see the Rockstar games folder, select the Red Dead Redemption 2 folder, select profiles and select the image folder and in it you have all your photos, your photos start with the letter P. All the photos start with PRD R3. And your saves will say SRDR3.
Select any photo from this list, make changes to it and extract it to your desktop or wherever you want.
This is an easy way to get your screenshots from the Red Dead Redemption 2 archives instead of uploading them to Social Club. After editing and extracting, close the file. Always select Yes for a backup file before editing.
